A Proudly Canadian Product! Our gallery style stretcher bars are made of kiln-dried and knot-free Basswood. This type of wood is light yet strong, making it ideal for the thicker dimensions of our gallery bars. Each stretcher bar features a 1.5″ profile and is precision cut to join together in a secure fashion. Every stretcher bar 24″ and longer has a centre slot milled to accept a crossbrace for support (bars 48″ or longer contain 2 slots).Crossbraces are available in even lengths from 12″ to 72″ and are sold in singles (prices shown are not for pairs).
